Comedy gold this morning as my old post about myspace and ultralounges attracted the attention of a clubspammer/webspammer, who had this to say.

I've got a MySpace page for my music, but It's done nothing for me. If time is money, MySpace is like chucking your money right down a well. But not just any well. It's that well from "The Colour Out Of Space." You know, the one that SUCKS THE LIFE OUT OF ANYONE NEAR IT, AND POISONS EVERYTHING IT TOUCHES FOREVER.

FWIW, here's my take on the usefulness of Myspace. It's definitely kept a few bands in my consciousness that I would have otherwise forgotten about, even if I liked them when I first heard them.

Note: do not take this as disagreement with your claim of Myspace's life-sucking tendencies.

That's exactly why I use Myspace. Although I am very very old, a lot of my old friends show up there also, because my college friends are all rock atheists and Media Jews.

If someone hasn't already, somebody needs to cop "The Media Jews" for a band name.
