I propose that anyone who wants to start a "Computer Security Company" be forced to have one pinky hacked off. The first time they lie, cheat, or steal for "Security" reasons they lose the other one. We'll progress from there.

Date: 2006-05-04 07:35 pm (UTC)Short version: Blue Security is a company that "solves" the problem of spam via DDOS. This causes a DDOS slapfight with spammers. Blue Security hosts their blog on Typepad. When their site goes down due to the attacks they switch DNS so everything points to their blog. Result: Six Apart gets DDOS'd.
