Mr. Coolteeth reminds me very much of Michael Williams, Dame Judi Dench's husband. The first photo especially. So anyway, I'm thinking if it really is him, it could be a bunch of Royal Shakespeareans out for a boat trip. =)
You might recognize him, btw, from Branagh's Henry V. He played a somewhat battlescarred guy who almost got in a fight with Harry when he suggested the king would ransom himself rather than die with the footsoldiers. The character's name was Williams. =D
