Gee do you think a newly emergent stronger disease has anything to do with an inadequate health care system which specializes in not excluding pre-existing conditions? Can one say "economically sanctioned petri dish?" Why yes, yes you can.

I used to live next door to a guy who was working with TB prevention in Chicago, and public health care cuts not only prolonged it's presence but threatened to breed resistent strains, which is what can happen when a patient is cut off mid treatment. As it was, TB spiked again, but that it went back town was mostly due to hard working charitable groups. The thin line between me a dangerous epidemic in my area was a cranky old lefty most folks would dismiss...
