Oh, God. Amen.

I read that one about a year ago and it tore me up. Hedges is insightful and articulate and he cuts to the quick in so many ways. I was just about to post about that book in your other thread on war when I scrolled up and saw this...

It's sad, and painful to read in many ways, but encouraging too -- encouragingthat there ARE voices out there articulating this stuff.
