if you are slowly crushed to death by a parade float while dressed as a comical animal, the price of your dying is that of a mediocre used car.

"The safety and security of our guests and cast members is a top priority," the statement said. "We continue to keep Javier Cruz's family and friends in our thoughts and prayers."

Donna-Lynne Dalton, recording secretary for Teamsters Local 385, which represents costumed workers at Disney World, said she was pleased with the measures Disney has been taking since the accident.

"Once in a while you find that the company isn't just about money," she said. "It's rare."

What? All they said they were doing was "reviewing safety measures" and maybe giving them a little bit of money. Keeping someone in your thoughts and prayers always seems like such a weak gesture anyway and in this case it just seems bizarre.

To be fair though...it was only a first offense. If they kill a few more Pluto's this way the price could be as much as convertible Viper.

I might well accept being slowly crushed to death in a Pluto suit for an E30 M3. Those are sweet cars.
