Some of my brethren overreact to the bunnies ‘n’ chocolate version of Easter.

Folks let’s try for a more child friendly approach to religious education next time. I’m also intrigued by the throwaway mention of the “drunken man and self-mutilating woman” who don’t seem like appropriate characters for religious education either.

This is a great example of how adults reveal their own psychoses the best when they’re communicating to kids.

I saw that earlier today and just shook my head. What kind of people actually thought that up? I'm all for educating children about the finer points of religion, but that had to have been traumatic for all the little kids who still believe in the Easter Bunny.
