He was at Da Nang? Was he a Marine?

He was in the Navy. "No boats, just guns." In theory, he was in Naval Security.

my stepdad did communications recon in that area (3 man teams went out and climbed trees to string cable). he doesn't have anything good to say about Da Nang. it was some of the worst stuff.

I hope Bob is well and had a decent day.
