I think Obama means what he says, and it's clear he's got a very lively intellect. But you're absolutely right - he should never be mistaken for a liberal.

Maybe we need to update that old blues song: Been Right so long it looks like Left to me.[*] Dean, by the way, would be my main reason to vote Obama, if I could. Hillary would certainly bring Terry McAuliffe with her, and that man has been disastrous for the Democratic party. Dean's 50 state strategy - fighting the Republicans everywhere, all the time - is working.
