substituteOne of my favorite musicians from the 1980s, Alejandro Escovedo, has got Hepatitis C.
If you feel like buying some art by Jon Langford (Mekons, 3 Johns, etc.) you can ebay auction here to help out.
I’ve admired him going all the way back to his punk days with the Nuns in SF, and Rank & File, and a lot of great solo stuff since. Check his stuff out, anyway.
