It's not a contest. I am glad I'm not in Northern Virginia or something, but I'm also glad not to be in Iraq.
Mostly I've just been ill lately and my usual bad tolerance of heat is much worse. An 80-degree day and I feel like I've been in the jungles of Bengal for a week.
I wasn't tryin' to top you, amigo - just givin' the weather report in America's Middle. It's a good thing I wasn't wearing my work clothes for my commute - I could literally wring out my t-shirt!
Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well, I haven;t been keeping up with OP's journals - as you may know, I have only recently gotten back online, and sporadically at that - I sneak on @ work.
Yeah, I've been hiding my migraine in the cool bedroom for the last couple days so as not to go something something. My heat tolerance went fuckity when my thyroid screwed up again.
