The rest of the bus revealed the full story. There were ads for this stuff on the side. The ads were also very old and crummy looking. Bullfrog is a surfer cult product, but surfers aren't known for spontaneous fits of advertising. My guess is that sometime 15-20 years ago this person had their van all bullfrog'd up as a publicity stunt and never repainted it. Or washed it, apparently.
An alternative is that it belongs to the very rich and very stoned surfer dude who founded the company.
That van appeared when bullfrog first appeared - the creator? Dunno. Had no idea that van was still around. Serious nonstalgia, here. That crap never worked for me, anyway.
