Ouchie. I did, during the dotcombust have a negative return on my 401k. Luckily, I didn't have much in there so I didn't lose too much, but it was shocking nevertheless.
Well, that's better than the same value in parentheses or red.
I don't have stats on mine handy because (1) I have two different 401(k)s and an IRA; (2) one of those two is switching to a new provider this month, so is in some sort of limbo.
Come to think of it, I need to track down that old 401(k) and get it rolled over into something before all trace of that imploded near-dotcom-company completely disappears.
