I couldn't agree more. I want Halloween to be a kids' holiday again, partially because I never liked it that much personally and I don't like the way it's followed me into adulthood. But it's a neat idea: encourage kids to be imaginative, give them candy, reinforce ties with the community or whatever. It all seemed very innocent and nice. At least they still show neat old horror movies on TV, that was always the best part.
