It was only very lightly inspired by smoke. Actually my husband and I had been talking about how much our neighborhood has changed over the last two years, and how it's still going through a huge development boom due to all of the gentrification going on. The other influence was just the fact that I live on the intersections of 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 1st, so I though it could be interesting to track the two intersections together.
By the way, substitute, how did you come across my journal? Just curious. You're the first person I think to randomly come across it. Which is part of the idea behind it and it hasn't been up that long.
