substituteI woke up this morning to discover that I was out of coffee beans. Fortunately I have a can of this iced coffee stuff so that the day can happen. It’s hazelnut flavored and slightly sweet. As I was sipping it, I realized that it had a very familiar flavor that I also associated with mornings. What could it be? It wasn’t the hazelnut exactly, or the coffee, more like the milk..
... the stuff tastes exactly like the milk from a bowl of Cheerios and milk. I guess hazelnut + coffee + milk = toasted oats?

halfjack had a very similar experience today. How very odd.
Now to clean the kitchen up, and chase the cat around, and then, hmm. It’s such a beautiful day out. I need a meadow to frolic in. But I’ll probably just go down to D’s and read in the sun.
Last night I had tequila and animal crackers. Animal crackers taste really odd after tequila.
