They're reissuing the MAN's work! Woot.

I'll begin smashing libraries with an axe and ridiculing high school french teachers immediately in preparation for the dadaist apocalypse. JOY.

i've had that on my wishlist for awhile, but have been concentrating my paltry funds on those silly a+ books (i hear your laughter!) instead. to be honest, because i am not too bright, i don't always quite get what dear alfred is getting at, and consequently find julien torma, walter serner, roger shattuck, long-dead pyrrhonists and all of the wholesome television families to be much more accessable pataphysicians.

Aaiieee. the A+ exams. Dude, just study more and get one of the MCS* or even better learn a unix. I doubled my salary in five years by getting good at the Unix. Anyway, A+ rant over. I hear the "Adaptive Exams" book is good for that.

You're right about wholesome television families. I remember reading a comparison of the life of Samuel Beckett and that of some baseball manager in which the author made the point: "Why write book after book about the meaningless drivel of existence when you can live it?"

i don't think i can turn an a+ cert into anything resembling a career; i just want to understand it all because i like it. i don't think i'm intelligent enough to do what you're doing, unfortunately.

"Why write book after book about the meaningless drivel of existence when you can live it?"

that is so genius. i may append that to my LJ bio.
