We're coming up on NEVAR FORGET day, which we are supposed to call "Patriot Day". I think everyone is still afraid to make money off it in any obvious way. I remember the first anniversary, Hallmark sold cards. I give it 10 years before it's moved to a Monday.

At least Hallmark isn't selling theirs now.

Don't forget activities for the kids, too.

On an unrelated topic, the latest spamdexing trick seems to be mirroring wikipedia articles on your site and then dumping ad banners all over it, so that when I search for a topic or phrase on Google I get many, many hits with identical text on them, none of which are the actual wikipedia. Thanks, guys!

I was going to write a long screed about the New Demagoguery, the horrible echoes of 1933 in our own society, and the increasing acceptance of fascist viewpoints in mass media. But instead, I’ll just link y’all up with this Godwin watch page from the History News Network.
