Maybe they're not really your friends. :-)

Her introduction as "Miss Douglas(s?)" implies that she won an earlier pageant. Which really makes me want to never, ever, visit "Douglas(s?)", wheresoever it may be.

It's very important to tell the orchestra what key you're playing in. Very important.

aside from the obvious ear bleeding, what kills me is that someone totally thought that was the best choice of outfit. someone actually said "silver fringe sleeves, YES!!!"

She's exactly a half-step off. In my line of work we call that COMEDY GOLD!

I do this thing where I find an .mp3 of some really sappy easy-listening piano music and play along with it, in the same style, but completely off key. It never fails to amuse.

I could be wrong, but I think she's playing along to a CD, rather than a live orchestra. Which makes it even MORE hilarious, because presumably she's practiced this...

ROFLMAO!!! Was the hell was the Charlie Chaplin imitation in the middle? Ah no that wasn't 3CPO!!!

Oh my.

I find your lack of pitch disturbing...

You know, I can almost, almost forgive how very badly she is out of tune with her accompaniment because she's at least consistent. After all, orchestras tune up frequently because instruments expand and contract, and it's amazing how very hard it can be to hear what you're playing or singing along with when you're having music piped in. But, Oh My God, who told her it was a good idea to pretend the trumpet was a blaster? Why does she think that C3PO is Charlie Chaplin? And what in the hell is she wearing?

The backing music is by the same people: Meco. She's playing to the Star Wars Disco Song.
