BTW, did you read this at the bottom??? Eight male students! Woah! That's alot of young love.
In May 2001, Kimberly L. Merson, 24, a substitute teacher at Carroll County's Francis Scott Key High School, was arrested on multiple sex-related charges involving eight male students. She was sentenced to 18 months in jail after she pleaded guilty to four counts of felony sexual child abuse.
The three women discussed in this article are all so young. I mean, my dad's wife is 14 years younger than he is. Kinley was no more than 10 years older, and she was the oldest of the three. But Lordy, if some teacher, no matter how recently he got his teaching credential, was sniffing around my 15 year old, no matter how much older she might look, you better believe I'd have his ass in court.
My parents were teachers of the Jr high/high school age group. I remember once overhearing them talking about a 40-something colleague who had left his wife and family to run off with one of his students. They were just dumbstruck by his idiocy.
I'd have trouble teaching high schoolers, because there's always that one who looks and talks like 25 but is 16, and then you go home and punch a hole in the wall.
For me it'd have to be little kids or college students I think.
