AN HALIBUT EVENING
Mar. 27th, 2006 12:34 amCourtesy the hard work of
salome_st_john and half of
kitchen_life, had a tremendous meal. Great conversation as usual with you all. Johan, don't get killed bicycling through Hell, okay?

The rest of the photos in this Flickr photoset. I can confirm that Linty is a lovely cat (and a one-color-off clone of The Nads), and that Leah's roommate is a princess with poor social skills.

Date: 2006-03-27 08:55 am (UTC)I just smooched Linty. She really is a lovely cat. Nearly 12 years in and I'm still in love with her. And now I'm going to talk to her in the really unnerving voice.
Hey, just think: I may have to put up with my roommate, but she has to listen to that voice ALL THE TIME.

Date: 2006-03-27 06:02 pm (UTC)Fun fact: last summer, I was at the diner and actually saw, out the bay window, a fisherman filleting a hallibut. I always just sort of assumed that fish are all roughly salmon-sized; but no, halibut are immense!
