Van Halen Ultimate Fail!

When your preset synth track is played at 48K instead of 44.1K, do not attempt to play bravely through. No one and no thing can save you.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what went wrong but it sounded like crap and a half. I may not know art and all that....

They ended up a step and a half off, which makes it impossible to correct. Doom.

I got the amount of crap exactly right then! Yay me!

The extra 8.125% went towards gigantic microphones, so it wasn't a total loss.

I felt that right down here in my gut. That's brutal.

They keep trying to pull this off YouTube...I can only imagine the scene backstage afterwards

I have ensured that it will not perish from this Earth.

Why am I still listening to this.

Don't ask why I was at a Van Halen show.

I don't know what show that video's from, but that's exactly what happened in Chicago last week at the United Center. I was there. It was pathetic.

Van Failin' You might as well limp.

But then again I can't carry a tune in bucket and the only instrument I play is the radio...so who am I to judge. Still--OUCH!

You'd think...

Now, you'd think that this kind of screwup would be
nearly impossible.

But I've been noticing that statements of the form
"you'd think..." have had a pretty poor track
record lately.
