Thank-you. I have been looking for this Japanese word (http://www.everything2.com/index.pl?node=Omakase) for years. Stuttering out "Sushi. You choose. You decide. You pick" generally succeeds in these parts about one time out of ten. Now that I know the magic word of joy, I will tattoo that fucker on my forehead, which might be entertaining in the local sushi-go-round.

PS The word, in kanji, is now on my cell phone, so I can hold a picture of the word up to the sushi chef if my stupid-gaijin pronunciation fails as badly as I expect. This may or may not be simpler than tattooing the word on my forehead.
