Excellent. I may have to check it out when I visit the Faroes (probably along the way from Scotland to Iceland).

(Btw, I was surprised to find posters advertising tourism to the Faroes all over the London Underground.)

Looks like it's fairly cheap to fly there from Scotland. It looks like an incredibly beautiful place, at least in July.

I wasn't thinking of flying, but rather of catching ferries via the Orkneys, Shetlands and Faroes, to Iceland. Assuming I can get enough leave to do so, of course.

That I should be able to do. The question is, whether I'll have the time to spend a day or so on each island and a week or so exploring Iceland, as I'd like to.

Doing the Faroes/Orkneys/Shetlands one year and Iceland the next is another alternative, but it's not quite the same.
