It is actually a pretty cool idea, to put a tiny CD on a pin. I'm just unclear what, if anything, it has to do with blogs.

It's called a BlogPin becuase the idea (same as a blog) is to express yourself. In addition you can put a link on it to your website or blog and give it to someone.
