Press the button, Max

Our elevators at work are made by Thyssen-Krupp. Krupp was formerly mostly known for making HUGE FREAKING GUNS that looked like this:

big gun

I think about this every time I ride the elevator.

are they the same people that now make coffee machines? perhaps they discovered that the reason they found themselves making such enormous guns was all rooted in bad coffee and have since turned their attentions to solving the problem at the source.

I am wondering if the thing cab pivot, and if the tracks liked the load of a 45 degree shot.
