bleah

I'm dyspeptic and irritable. Points:
  1. There hasn't been an actual conversation in a while. People are all talking at once interrupting each other, louder and louder and louder. Sometimes we're louder than the bar at the Napa. It isn't fun. It's like sand in the buttcrack.
  2. The next person in any area of my life who presents me with a no-win situation or a stupid game is getting fucking hit so hard, your teeth will stick outa the back of your head.
  3. Irony is a dead scene.
  4. If I said what I thought even half the time I'd have no friends in a week. I'm starting to wonder if that might be a good thing for everyone.

Ummm... Ouch. I had a good time tonight. Does that make me vapid?

The two times I ever did that, I lost all my friends, but ultimately it was worth it for everyone involved.

It takes a fair amount of bottle, though. And a fair amount of what's in the bottle, too.

A.

GRRR!

Number 1 has been something bothering me for a while.

isn't #1 how it's always been?

Agreed.

Agreed.

If we are there merely for intellectual banter and stimulation, then where are we to go to just have fun. I for one had a great time last night. Some of my very favorite people were there. Some of which will not be in our presence for long. I enjoyed having people I love around me. I do however lust and desire good strong conversation. I spend my days discussing if people should cut bangs or not. Yes I desire more. But just being surrounded by loved ones is quite enough at times.

1. It has always been that way. This is not a new development and one of the reasons I don't say much.

2. BINGO!

3. Isn't it ironic... don't ya think?

4. Too many times i have asked myself this.

That reminds me of....

oh yeah, here it is.

#1

Sorry could not resist.

I noticed #1 and I'm deaf. But I think this is pretty common of social gatherings, they are informal after all. It's also one (of the many) reasons I don't really participate, I can't tell who is talking and how loud.

As for #4, I will whine about ASP no more. :)

Now I really want to know what's behind door number four. I don't know if that's good, bad or my own narcicism. But, I think that you having friends is a good thing.
