Housman is a big favorite of mine, and this one really sums up a lot of my particular viewpoint on life. People often accuse me of being negative; I call it preparing for reality. Call me Mithridates!

Hey, that's one of my favorites too! And I like it for the same reason. People may call me a cynic, but the true cynics are the people who think life is so wretched that it must be sugarcoated.
