What a wonderful entry. Growing up in the 80's in Irvine, I remember a lot of similar people...I was terrified of them. One time in particular, I was about 4, walking home from a friends (alone, of course as this was the SUBURBS and NOTHING bad happened here) and some punk kids who were probably on 13 or 14 but seemed 25 to me at the time asked me "Hey little girl, you want some candy?". I freaked out and ran home. I'm sure it was a big joke to them but, to me, I had just escaped something really bad, haha.
